Terms of Service for SKF Bearing Quotes and Orders

These Terms govern every SKF bearing quote and order handled by Electrical Equipment through skfus.com: itemised written quotes, buyer-approved technical changes and clear delivery terms for every line on your list.

Effective date: 2026 · Applies to all quotes and orders placed via https://skfus.com

Summary

Key terms at a glance

Four rules shape every transaction: the written quote governs, identification comes before pricing, no technical change happens without your approval, and receiving discrepancies are resolved on evidence.

  • The written quote governs

Model, quantity, price and currency, stock, lead time, validity and freight or tax terms are fixed in writing.

  • Identification before pricing

Incomplete models are clarified first, so every line is quoted against the correct SKF designation.

  • Buyer approves every change

Substitutes are listed separately. No technical change is supplied without your written approval.

  • Discrepancies resolved on evidence

Check labels, quantities and condition on receipt; report gaps with your order number and photos.

01

Quotes and Validity

Every SKF bearing quote from Electrical Equipment is issued in writing, and the written quote is the binding reference for price, scope and delivery terms. Verbal or chat indications are not binding until confirmed in a written quote.

02

Specifications and Identification

The buyer is responsible for providing complete SKF models and specifications. Where a model is incomplete, the identification gap is closed before a price is issued, so each line is quoted against the right bearing.

  • Provide full SKF designations, internal stock codes where used, and line-by-line quantities.
  • Specify precision bearings and mounted units separately from standard replacement bearings, with their own requirements.
  • List housings and mounting accessories as separate lines when they are part of your supply scope.
  • For incomplete models, send clear photos of the bearing markings and state which details remain open.

03

Substitutions and Technical Changes

Any substitute is shown as a separate, clearly marked option, and no technical change is supplied without the buyer's approval. The originally requested specification stays on the quote unless you approve otherwise.

  • Substitutes are listed next to, never in place of, the requested line.
  • Changes to designation, variant, clearance, seal type or assembly require written approval from the buyer or its technical approver.
  • Approved changes are reflected in an updated written quote before the order proceeds.

04

Order Confirmation

An order is placed once the buyer has reviewed and accepted the written quote. By placing the order, the buyer confirms that the following points are correct:

  • Specifications per line
  • Quantities per line
  • Delivery details and destination
  • Payment arrangement
  • Commercial terms stated in the quote

Changes requested after order placement are confirmed in writing before they take effect.

  • Provide the destination country, postcode and required delivery date with your request.
  • Transport documents required for the order are agreed before dispatch.
  • Freight and tax terms follow the written quote.
